Baseboards must be removed. Carpet World does not guarantee baseboards nor install new baseboards.
Doors - All doors in the installation work areas must be removed before installation day.
Furniture - Installers will move large pieces only. Small end tables, chairs, personal items, breakables and plants must be removed before installation day.
Appliances - Carpet World will move the following:
- Kitchen Refrigerator (must be emptied and does not include Fridges with Ice Makers Units)
- Stoves (does not include natural gas units)
- Washer and Dryer (does not include natural gas units)
Toilets - No warranty toilets cannot be removed if inlet hose does not have a shut off value at the wall base. |

Sub floor - is highly recommended for all linoleum installations; however in some cases the existing lino may be floated and new lino installed over existing floor.
Floor Squeaks - Carpet World does not guarantee any floor against squeaks.
Wall Scratches - Minor scratches can occur with carpet installation. Carpet World does not warrantee minor scratches.
Removal and Disposal - if homeowner chooses to do own removal of existing flooring, the area must be clear of all staples, nails, screws and the area must be vacuumed. Glued down carpets must be scrapped off so the floor is reasonably smooth.
